Reality TV star Venita Akpofure has reacted strongly to a suggestion by her colleague, Cross Okonkwo, that she should face Phyna in a celebrity boxing match.

Cross had sparked the conversation in a post on , suggesting that Venita and Phyna, whom he described as two strong personalities, should settle their differences in the boxing ring.

He also expressed his willingness to pay to watch the proposed contest.

“Venita Akpofure would like you to fight UnusualPhyna. Two strong women. I will definitely pay to watch the boxing ring fight,” he wrote.

Venita, however, did not seem amused by the suggestion and questioned why anyone would want to watch two women physically fight for entertainment.

In her response, she hit back at Cross, telling him that if he had developed an appetite for seeing a woman punched in the boxing ring, he should consider sending his wife into the ring instead.

“If you suddenly have an appetite to see a woman punched, please send your wife into a boxing ring,” she replied.

Cross later clarified that his comment was only a joke, noting that he and Venita are familiar with each other.
