Phyna Breaks Silence, Responds To Nkechi Blessing’s Call-Out In Viral Video

Former Big Brother Naija winner Josephina “Phyna” Otabor has responded to actress Nkechi Blessing following the actress’s recent criticism of her on social media, questioning the nature of their relationship and describing the situation as bullying.

In a video shared online, Phyna expressed confusion over why Nkechi Blessing had publicly addressed her, insisting that the two women were not friends and had no relationship beyond a previous discussion concerning a movie project.

According to Phyna, the actress had contacted her about featuring in a film and requested her bank details to facilitate payment.

She explained that she replied later that evening and sent the requested information. However, Nkechi Blessing allegedly informed her afterward that she had chosen another person for the role because she did not delay her projects.

Phyna maintained that the exchange marked the end of their communication, stressing that they had no further conversations or interactions.

“She reached out to me. She said we should do a film or whatever. She messaged me for money. I’m going to screenshot that chat and post it on my story,” Phyna said.

She added, “No other conversation. No other chat. We are not friends. No other talk. There was no other conversation.”

The reality TV star further questioned why Nkechi Blessing had decided to address her publicly, stating that she was making efforts to avoid disrespecting the actress despite feeling frustrated by the situation.

During the video, Phyna repeatedly referred to Nkechi Blessing as “Grandma” and made other remarks directed at the actress.

She concluded by stating that she intended to share their previous conversation on social media to provide context and show what had transpired between them.
