Unknown Gunmen Reportedly K!ll Popular Enugu Politician Inside His Residence
Popular Enugu politician Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, popularly known as Okanga Moo, has reportedly been killed by unknown gunmen in the Odenigbo area of Nsukka Local Government Area, Enugu State.
According to Bush Radio Academy, Oloto was allegedly attacked inside his residence on Thursday evening by unidentified assailants. The circumstances surrounding the reported attack remain unclear.
Social media influencer Sen. Chijinkem Ugwuanyi reportedly confirmed the incident in a post shared on Facebook, claiming that the politician was brutally killed at his residence in Odenigbo.
“Prince Ikechukwu Oloto, aka ‘Okanga Mo’, was killed yesterday evening by unknown gunmen in Nsukka, right in his residence at Odenigbo,” Ugwuanyi stated.
He further alleged that Oloto was “brutally cut into pieces,” although the claim had not been independently verified at the time of the report.
The incident has reportedly generated concern among residents and associates of the politician, with details surrounding the motive and identity of the attackers yet to emerge.
As of the time of filing the report, the Enugu State Police Command had not released an official statement confirming the reported killing or providing details about any investigation into the incident.
Authorities are expected to provide further information as efforts continue to establish the circumstances surrounding Oloto’s reported death.
