BBNaija: Abi Reveals How Her Marriage Affected Her Relationships In The House

Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Abisola Ayoola, has opened up about her experience on the reality show, revealing that being married initially made it difficult for her to establish close connections with some of the male housemates.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Abi made the disclosure in an interview with Punch following her eviction from the reality show. She said some of the male contestants appeared cautious about getting close to her after learning that she was married.

The reality TV star was evicted alongside Araga during Sunday’s double eviction, bringing her seven-week stay in the Big Brother Naija house to an end.

Reflecting on her experience, Abi said navigating relationships with the male contestants was one of the challenges she encountered as a married woman in the house. She explained that some of the men initially appeared to hold back because of her marital status, although she eventually became more comfortable and formed connections with some of them.

She said the intense environment of the reality show also affected her emotionally, describing her time in the house as challenging but educational.

“The hardest part for me was being a married woman in the house and trying to navigate connections with the male housemates. At first, I felt like they were holding back because they knew I was married, but eventually, I got past that,” she said.

Abi added that the experience taught her lessons about relationships and personal boundaries while exposing her to a different social environment.

Following her eviction, the former housemate also revealed that she is considering exploring entrepreneurship. Among the business ideas she is weighing are opening a bakery and launching a bikini line.

She said her next steps would involve carefully considering the opportunities available to her after her time on the reality show.
