Nancy Iheme Breaks Silence On Acting Hiatus, Reveals Her Master’s Degree Plan

Nollywood actress Nancy Iheme has revealed that she temporarily stepped away from acting in 2026 to focus on her education and pursue a Master’s degree in Poland.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the actress disclosed the decision while reflecting on her life and achievements in a birthday message shared on Instagram. She explained that taking a break from acting was a personal decision she made at the beginning of the year as part of her plans for academic and personal growth.

Iheme described 2026 as a significant year in her life, noting that one of the major goals she set for herself was to temporarily put her acting career on hold and pursue further education.

The actress said she was proud of herself for having the courage to step away from something she loves in order to create room for a new chapter focused on education and personal development.

“2026 has been a very significant year for me. One of the biggest things I promised myself this year was to take a break from acting and pursue my Masters’ degree in Poland. And today, I can proudly say I’m doing it,” she said.

Iheme explained that stepping away from her career, even temporarily, required courage, but she believes the decision represents part of a larger plan for her life.

“It takes courage to step away from what you love, even temporarily, to make room for something greater. I’m proud of myself for choosing growth, education, and a new chapter. I know this decision is part of a bigger plan that God has for me,” she added.

As she celebrated her new age, the actress also offered prayers for clarity, divine direction, wisdom, good health, genuine happiness, meaningful relationships and financial abundance.

Her decision marks a temporary shift from her Nollywood career as she pursues her academic ambitions in Poland, with the actress expressing confidence in the new phase of her life.
