Veteran Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as Kwam 1, has reportedly helped resolve the long-standing disagreement between National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) National President Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, and the Lagos State Chairman of the union, Mustapha Adekunle, also known as Tafa Sego.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the reconciliation followed years of tension between MC Oluomo and Tafa Sego, who were previously regarded as close associates within the Lagos NURTW structure.

The development was announced in a post shared on Instagram by Kwam 1’s digital media team on Tuesday. The post stated that the two NURTW figures met and reconciled at Ojusagbola in Ijebu, Ogun State, in the presence of several union chieftains.

Kwam 1 reportedly intervened in his capacity as the Mayegun of Yorubaland, seeking to bring an end to the prolonged disagreement between the two men.

The statement described the meeting as a significant step towards resolving the dispute, stressing that the reconciliation was intended to be a lasting settlement rather than a temporary public show of unity.

It said MC Oluomo and Tafa Sego had finally resolved their differences and expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the meeting.

The reconciliation marks a notable development in the relationship between the two NURTW figures, who had previously worked closely together before their relationship became strained.

Kwam 1’s intervention has now brought the two sides together, with the parties reportedly agreeing to move beyond their long-running disagreement.
