Andre Onana Escapes Serious Injury After Terrifying Multi-Car Crash In Turkey
Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana has escaped serious injury following a multi-car accident in Turkey that reportedly left his luxury vehicle badly damaged.
According to Bush Radio Academy, the 30-year-old Cameroonian international, who is currently on loan at Turkish club Trabzonspor, was involved in a collision near Trabzon.
Reports indicate that another vehicle crashed into the rear of his £100,000 Hongqi E-HS9 at high speed, forcing his car into a vehicle in front of it.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene on Yomra Road, where debris was scattered across the roadway. Images from the incident reportedly showed significant damage to the right side of Onana’s vehicle.
The goalkeeper was taken to hospital for medical examinations as a precaution but was later discharged after being assessed by medical personnel.
Although reports indicated that Onana was travelling with family members, it remains unclear whether his wife and son were inside the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan confirmed the incident and reassured supporters about the goalkeeper’s condition, stating that Onana had been involved in a road accident but had not suffered any serious problems. He also wished the player a speedy recovery.
The incident occurred just hours after Onana helped Trabzonspor secure a 2-0 victory over Scottish side Hearts of Midlothian in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
The accident has raised concerns among supporters, although the available information indicates that the goalkeeper escaped serious harm.
