Manchester United Unveil 22-Man Squad For Chelsea Clash As Fernandes, Mount Make The List

Manchester United have announced their 22-man squad for Saturday afternoon’s Premier League encounter against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

According to Bush Radio Academy, manager Michael Carrick has selected a squad featuring captain Bruno Fernandes, midfielder Mason Mount and striker Joshua Zirkzee for the highly anticipated fixture.

The Red Devils will be hoping to return to winning ways after suffering a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Bournemouth in their previous Premier League outing last weekend.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will also be looking to respond positively after losing to Liverpool in the Carabao Cup during the week.

The 22 players selected by Carrick are divided into four departments, with Lammens, Darlow, Heaton and Mee included among the goalkeepers.

The defensive options consist of Harry Maguire, Lisandro Martinez, Matthijs de Ligt, Heaven, Leny Yoro, Diogo Dalot and Noussair Mazraoui.

In midfield, the squad features Bruno Fernandes, Baleba, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Santos and Tielemans.

The attacking department includes Bryan Mbeumo, Amad, Cunha, Lacey and Joshua Zirkzee.

The encounter is scheduled to kick off at 1:30 p.m. Nigerian time, with both sides expected to battle for an important Premier League result.

Manchester United will be eager to put their recent defeat behind them, while Chelsea will aim to use home advantage to secure a positive result against their Premier League rivals.
