Cristiano Ronaldo has taken another significant step towards achieving the historic milestone of 1,000 career goals after scoring his 67th career hat-trick in Al-Nassr’s thrilling 5-3 victory over Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League.

The 41-year-old Portugal captain produced an outstanding second-half performance, scoring three goals within 15 minutes to help Al-Nassr secure all three points.

His goals came after Angelo Gabriel and Sadio Mané had given the hosts a strong advantage, while Ronaldo’s Portugal teammate, Joao Felix, played a crucial role by providing four assists, including two for the forward’s goals.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the latest hat-trick takes Ronaldo’s career total to 67, including seven since joining Al-Nassr. His remarkable record also features 44 hat-tricks for Real Madrid, 10 for Portugal, and three each for Manchester United and Juventus.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar has now scored 985 official senior career goals, leaving him just 15 goals away from becoming the first player to reach the 1,000-goal landmark.

Ronaldo has enjoyed an illustrious career, winning league titles in England, Spain, Italy and Saudi Arabia. He also holds the record as the highest goalscorer in men’s international football.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has spent almost four years with Al-Nassr and has one year remaining on his current contract. However, uncertainty remains over how long he intends to continue playing professionally.

In August, the Portuguese forward offered a possible hint about his future, admitting that the current year could probably be his final season as a professional footballer.

Meanwhile, Al-Nassr remain firmly involved in the Saudi Pro League title race as they aim to defend their championship. The club currently sit second behind league leaders Al-Qadsiah, with a game in hand.
