Nigerian relationship therapist and social media personality Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has announced the death of her nine-year-old son, Bryan, in an emotional tribute shared on Instagram on Sunday.

The grieving mother expressed deep sorrow over the loss, revealing that she had purchased an iPad and a bicycle she had previously promised her son but would no longer have the opportunity to give him.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Blessing described Bryan as a selfless, kind, outspoken, bold and intelligent child, promising to keep his memories alive wherever life takes her.

In her emotional tribute, she admitted that she was struggling to accept the reality of his death, explaining that the shock of losing him had left her devastated.

She recalled buying the gifts in anticipation of her son’s excitement when she returned home, expressing sadness that he would no longer be there to receive them.

Blessing also described Bryan as her guardian angel, saying she would forever cherish the memories they shared. She further lamented that her surroundings had become cold and quiet since his passing.

The relationship therapist also made a heartbreaking revelation about a dream her son reportedly had while he was alive. According to her, Bryan once dreamt about his own death and shared the experience with his brother, Darell, her sister, Precious, and her father, who reportedly prayed for him. However, she said her son never discussed the dream with her.

Reflecting on the painful experience of returning home after his death, Blessing explained that she was no longer filled with excitement because she had lost someone she could never get back.

Despite the devastating loss, she expressed determination to continue living in a way that would make her son proud, promising to carry his memories with her throughout her life.

Her emotional tribute has drawn attention to the pain of losing a child, with her words highlighting the depth of her grief and the lasting bond she shared with Bryan.
