Popular Nigerian socialite and crossdresser, Bobrisky, has described his decision to leave Nigeria as one of the best choices he has made in his life, saying he is enjoying greater peace since relocating abroad.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Bobrisky made this known in a recent Instagram post, where he reflected on his decision to leave the country and expressed satisfaction with his current living environment.

The socialite described Nigeria as a toxic environment, claiming that controversies, gossip, disagreements and other forms of drama occur frequently.

He explained that relocating has given him the opportunity to enjoy the peace and tranquillity he believes were missing from his previous environment.

Bobrisky also made it clear that he would not willingly sacrifice the peace he currently enjoys, suggesting that his new lifestyle has brought him considerable satisfaction.

His departure from Nigeria in November 2024 followed controversies surrounding his relationship with the Federal Government after allegations emerged that he had failed to serve his prison sentence.

The controversy came after Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison for abusing the naira. Subsequent claims that he did not spend the stipulated period in prison generated public criticism and attracted attention from government authorities.

Reflecting on his experience, Bobrisky maintained that leaving Nigeria was a decision he does not regret, insisting that the peace he currently enjoys is something he is determined to protect.
