As a new President, he knew that some leaders may expect him to make enthusiastic commitments to them on things that might be difficult for the country, he was careful. Mindful of the fact that he is yet to fully constitute his cabinet.
He was there to listen more and understand what should be best for Nigeria in the whole summit. He didn’t participate in public speaking just for showmanship. He was tactical, strategic, and observant. Even though he participated fully, no one can say categorically that our President made any serious commitment that may hinder the growth and progress of our country. We all know Europe right? I like the fact that he engaged with Nigerians in diaspora and restricted his messages on his recent achievements, by asking them to trust and renew their hope in Nigeria, which they did, considering their submissions. He neither confronted the international community, nor surrendered us to them, even through, both sides expected him to do so, in their respective interests.
He was full of wisdom. He carefully navigated his ousting with resounding success. You are most welcome back Mr. President, Nigerians are very proud of your leadership.
