In recent times, the operational state of the Port Harcourt Refinery has been a cause for concern. Its non-functioning state has affected the country’s economy, leading to an increase in fuel prices and raising issues with the availability and supply of fuel across the country.
The pledge from President Tinubu, as revealed by the TUC National President, will be welcomed by Nigerians who have had to bear the brunt of fuel scarcity and the attendant hardships.
This assurance also signals a positive step towards industrial revitalization and economic recovery, and it is anticipated that this commitment will be followed through to fruition.
