The comedian elaborated during the interview, revealing that during his upbringing, he wasn’t conscious of his comedic abilities as he was constantly surrounded by amusing friends. Eventually, he recognized his natural gift for comedy.

Even though he held a strong passion for rap and found himself at a crossroads, debating whether to pursue comedy or a music career, he eventually came to value and embrace his comedic talents.

Basketmouth also revealed that his parents were supportive when he decided to venture into comedy during his formative years. He shared that they established a single requirement: for him to complete his education and attain a college degree.
