Enhanced Security Measures Implemented At Presidential Villa For Ministerial Swearing-In

A credible source informed The PUNCH that heightened security has been implemented, and as per the current arrangement, vehicles, including those of ministers-designate and their guests, will not be permitted to enter the Villa on Monday. Additionally, both visitors and ministers-designate may undergo biometric capturing.
Each of the ministers-designate received three invitation cards for their invited guests.
According to a statement released on Sunday by the Director of Information at the OSGF, Willie Bassey, the documentation process unfolded seamlessly. The statement noted:
“The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has successfully completed the documentation process for all ministers-designate this evening.
“The documentation commenced on Saturday at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The exercise witnessed a large turnout of ministers-designate who completed the process yesterday.
“Today, the remaining ministers-designate concluded the exercise.
“In total, all 45 ministers-designate have successfully completed the documentation process and received three invitation cards each for their guests.
“Adequate transportation arrangements have been finalized to convey ministers-designate and their three guests to the State House Conference Centre, Aso Villa, Abuja, the venue of the ceremony.”
Bassey added that after the swearing-in, Permanent Secretaries are expected to meet their respective ministers at the Office of the Secretary to the Government for further engagement.
While accredited journalists covering Aso Villa will have automatic entry to the venue, other attendees will be provided with a link for clean feeds to join the event.
