Reno, not one to remain silent, took to Twitter to clarify the nature of their relationship. He vehemently denied any familial ties with Rufai Oseni. In a detailed tweet, Reno stated, “My siblings held a meeting today, and it was agreed to inform the general public that, contrary to a video that he did, in which he alleged that he is my cousin, Mr. Rufai Oseni is not related to me in any way, shape or form.”
Highlighting the absence of any blood connection, Reno explained that while Rufai might have benefitted from the generosity of his parents in the past, this didn’t establish any familial ties. He continued, “There is also no blood relationship or any degree of consanguinity between myself or any of my siblings and Mr Rufai Oseni. We wish him well and hope he does find his cousins, whoever they are. But suffice to say that that will not be us.”
Reno further clarified, “There is absolutely no linkage by blood between me and my siblings to either Mr Rufai Oseni or his father and his mother. I strongly urge him to stop passing himself off as a cousin to Reno Omokri or his siblings.”
To drive his point home, Reno also shared a video with the caption, “Rufai Oseni Is Not My Cousin, He Lies So Much, He Should Have Been Named Irolabi,” further emphasizing his stance on the issue.
