Tinubu Support Group Mobilises Members For Presidential Rally In Nasarawa
The Director-General of Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), Hon. Ahmed Bala, has led members of the organisation to Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital, to participate in a presidential campaign rally attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Speaking on the sidelines of the political gathering, Bala reaffirmed his organisation’s support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and its Renewed Hope Agenda, while drawing attention to federal infrastructure projects across Nigeria’s North-Central region.
He identified the ongoing Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri Superhighway as one of the major federal road projects, noting that its completion could improve transportation, strengthen agricultural trade and enhance connectivity between the North-Central and North-East regions.
Bala also highlighted other infrastructure projects, including the Abuja-Lokoja Expressway, Lafia Bypass in Nasarawa State, Makurdi-Otukpo-9th Mile Road and Shendam Bridge in Plateau State, alongside other federal interventions across the region.
According to the RTIFN director-general, road connectivity, agricultural development, educational opportunities and economic reforms should remain important considerations when assessing the administration’s performance.
He acknowledged the economic challenges confronting Nigerians, stressing the need for government projects and policies to produce practical benefits that improve the living conditions of citizens.
Bala further described the North-Central geopolitical zone as a strategic agricultural, commercial and transportation corridor, noting that investment in its development could contribute to broader economic growth across the country.
RTIFN, which describes itself as a sister organisation to the City Boy Movement, has been involved in public engagement, political mobilisation and advocacy relating to the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration.
Bala said the Lafia rally provided an opportunity for political stakeholders, community leaders and citizens to discuss government performance, development priorities and their participation in the democratic process.
The gathering, which attracted Vice President Kashim Shettima, also brought together political leaders and supporters as activities and mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections continue.
