In the video, Ganduje alleged that Kwankwaso, who is the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria’s Peoples Party in the 2023 elections, orchestrated demolition projects in Kano for strategic reasons.

Ganduje contended that Kwankwaso orchestrated these demolitions to portray himself as a champion of progress, positioning himself as someone who would rejuvenate the Abuja master plan. He also claimed that Kwankwaso had actively lobbied to secure the role of Federal Capital Territory minister.

These allegations from Ganduje have emerged within the context of a prolonged rivalry between the two politicians. Their history of political discord has consistently captured the attention of both the Nigerian public and media.
