He emphasized that the ongoing legal dispute in the United States has cast Nigeria in a negative light on the global stage, leading to ridicule and embarrassment.
Kalu further pointed out that Atiku is a respected statesman who has the best interests of Nigeria at heart, and therefore appealed to him to reconsider his course of action. He stressed that as patriots, there are more dignified ways to handle such matters and preserve Nigeria’s reputation.
Kalu also underscored the importance of moving past the election, which has concluded with the emergence of a president.
He expressed hope that Atiku would discontinue the lawsuit in America, taking into account the greater good of the country and the longstanding friendship between him and President Tinubu.
