In his message on the occasion of Eid-el Maulud, Kyari assured the public that the government is actively addressing these challenges and is committed to providing support to farmers. In a statement issued recently, he emphasized the government’s dedication to combating food insecurity.

The minister encouraged all Nigerians, particularly the youth, to consider agriculture as a viable and profitable venture. He highlighted the sector’s potential to generate employment opportunities and contribute significantly to economic growth.

“In our pursuit of enhancing food security and addressing hunger in Nigeria, we are diligently working to achieve our goal of food self-sufficiency,” Kyari stated. “We are in the process of developing a comprehensive plan to ensure that we fulfill our mandates outlined in the President’s eight-point agenda. To achieve success, we must collaborate with all stakeholders, including farmers, security personnel, and development partners.”

Additionally, he advised Muslims to follow and practice the teachings of the Holy Prophet while continuing to pray for the peace and unity of the nation.
