During a courtesy visit to the Catholic Bishop of Idah Diocese, Bishop Anthony Adaji, Senator Melaye emphasized that his participation in the gubernatorial race aims to liberate the people of Kogi State from the grip of what he described as the insensitive, inept, and corrupt APC administration.

According to a statement from the spokesperson for the Sen. Dino Melaye Campaign Council, Barr. Omoyemi Olumudi, the PDP candidate lamented the hardships inflicted on the people of Kogi by the APC government.

This includes the withholding of salaries and pensions, as well as the misappropriation of funds intended for vital sectors such as healthcare, education, water resources, and others that directly impact the citizens.
