During a press briefing held in Lafia, the state capital, the party characterized the tribunal’s ruling, which declared the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, David Ombugadu, as the winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state, as a significant mistake.

Malam Aliyu Bello, the party’s Chairman, argued that the tribunal’s decision was fundamentally flawed and should not be upheld. The APC firmly rejected the tribunal’s verdict, asserting that it did not accurately represent the people’s will.

Bello stated, “Our great party, the APC, firmly believes that the election tribunal made a mistake in arriving at its decision. Therefore, our great party unequivocally and categorically rejects the split judgment of the tribunal, which voted two to one in nullifying Governor Abdullahi Sule’s re-election for a second term as the executive Governor of Nasarawa state.”
