Yesufu suggested that Nigerians should issue an apology to Mmesoma Ejikeme, who had falsified her Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) result, if Tinubu remains in office.
In a post on an undisclosed platform, the co-convener of BringBackOurGirls (BBOG) advocated for Mmesoma to be granted a scholarship.
The activist raised doubts about the legitimacy of Tinubu’s presidency, questioning whether his occupation of the presidential office was fraudulent and derogatory to Nigerians, particularly in light of the certificate forgery allegations.
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, had undertaken efforts to expose Tinubu for alleged forgery.
Atiku had asserted that Tinubu had forged the certificate he submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and argued that the president never attended the Chicago State University (CSU).
In contrast to Atiku’s claims, CSU had affirmed that Tinubu was indeed admitted to and graduated from the institution.
