Dr. Mary Arinde, the state’s Commissioner for Tertiary Education, conveyed the government’s stance during her keynote address at the inauguration and handover ceremony of the center to NOUN management in Iloffa.

She highlighted that the inauguration of the center signifies that “Ilofa campus now belongs to the largest University in Nigeria by national spread.”

Arinde further noted that NOUN has played a pivotal role in making education accessible and, importantly, available to the people of Oke-Ero, who have a strong tradition of pursuing knowledge, aligning with the ethos of the Ekiti people of Nigeria.

In his remarks, the Alofa of Iloffa, Oba Samuel Niyi Dada, expressed the community’s commitment to self-help initiatives across various areas, driven by communal dedication, to complement government efforts.
