According to Boza, who spoke with Daily Trust, the federal legislator passed away at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday after a short illness. He had been admitted to the hospital the previous Tuesday around noon.
As stated by Al-Mustapha, the House of Representatives member will be laid to rest in Sokoto State on Wednesday at approximately 11 a.m. He further explained that the burial would take place following the ceremonial bathing at the National Mosque.
Almustapha added, “His remains will be transported to the National Mosque for the bathing ceremony, after which it will be flown to Sokoto for the burial around 11 a.m.”
