has accused President Bola Tinubu of a purported serious violation of the existing laws of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) by appointing Mr. Ola Olukoyede as the Commission’s Chairman last Thursday.

CEDEHUR’s National Secretary, Adebayo Ogorry, highlighted that Tinubu allegedly overlooked the importance of strictly adhering to the sacrosanct EFCC existing laws before proceeding with Olukoyede’s appointment as the Chairman.

Ogorry emphasized that Tinubu should ensure compliance with the EFCC existing laws and promptly revoke Olukoyede’s appointment as EFCC Chairman.

Failure to do so could establish a harmful precedent for future administrations and could lead to potential disorder.
