According to Mr. Muhuyi Magaji, the commission’s chairman, the suspect was apprehended at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport shortly after his return from Saudi Arabia.
The suspect, who serves as the chief executive of Lamash Properties, allegedly sold these residential plots to individuals in the Challawa area of Kumbotso local government at approximately N2.5 million each. Additionally, he is accused of selling residential plots in Dawanau, Dawakin Tofa local government area.
Magaji emphasized that the commission is actively investigating the suspect, focusing on how he obtained the allocation of 632 residential plots from the previous administration and the alleged sale to various individuals within the state.
