This project aims to provide access to piped water across Kogi Central senatorial district.
Speaking before a large gathering of supporters in his hometown of Okene during the APC Kogi Central senatorial district grand rally, Ododo made a commitment to continue expanding the Okene water project during his first 100 days in office as governor.
He further declared his intention to facilitate the connection of the Itakpe-Warri rail line to Lokoja, the state capital, in accordance with the federal government’s intermodal transportation system under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Ododo assured that he would see to the completion of all ongoing internal road projects in Kogi Central, thereby alleviating traffic congestion on major routes in the area.
While acknowledging the support extended to Governor Bello by the people of the senatorial district over the past seven and a half years, Ododo pledged to be a diligent follower of the governor.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity given by the governor to build upon his achievements in vital sectors of the state’s economy.
