The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is scheduled to conduct the governorship election in Bayelsa, Kogi, and Imo states on that date.
In Bayelsa, Timipre Sylva represents the APC, while Governor Hope Uzodinma is the APC’s candidate in Imo State, and Usman Ododo is the APC’s candidate in Kogi State.
Tinubu’s appeal is a plea for the APC candidates to ensure that the governorship election on November 11 is conducted with a strong commitment to freedom, fairness, and credibility. He made these statements during an address in Abuja on Thursday.
Tinubu stressed, “My sole request is for an election that is genuinely free and fair. I have confidence that we will perform admirably.
He expressed optimism about the party’s prospects in the off-cycle election, emphasizing that the collective dedication of party officials and supporters, in conjunction with the candidates’ proven track records, will lead the APC to success.
