In a statement released on Monday by his media aide, Ezrel Tabiowo, Lawan attributed the triumph of both candidates to the unwavering dedication, commitment, and passion demonstrated by the APC candidates and their supporters.

He characterized their victories as a testament to the resilience of the nation’s democracy and the people’s ability to voice their opinions.

Lawan expressed his delight, stating, “I am thrilled to learn of the victory of Governor Hope Uzodinma and Ahmed Usman-Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Imo and Kogi Governorship elections.

The people of Imo and Kogi have spoken and have entrusted the leadership of their states to the APC, and we are honored to have their support.”
