The impeachment proceedings hit a roadblock when the state Chief Judge, Justice Olusegun Odusola, declined the Assembly’s request to establish a seven-man panel for investigating the deputy governor.
Recent information indicates that Aiyedatiwa has returned to the state and resumed official duties at his office.
According to a source within the deputy governor’s office, Aiyedatiwa is set to preside over the state Executive Council meeting scheduled for today (Thursday).
