Erema Akerejola, Chief of Logistics of the Nigerian Army, owns a million-dollar property in the United States, raising concerns about the misappropriation of military funds. Akerejola, who heads the Department of Army Logistics (DOAL), responsible for all logistics matters in the Nigerian Army, is alleged to have diverted funds from the military budget for personal acquisitions. The property, registered under his wife’s name, Moturayo, is one of several allegedly acquired with army logistics funds.

Soldiers express frustration over poor welfare and outdated equipment, attributing the issues to financial mismanagement by senior officers. The accusations against Akerejola include claims of using diverted military funds for personal gain, with allegations of multiple properties in the US.
