He promised to increase allowances for doctors and other medical staff, bridging the gap between state and federal government allowances to encourage them to stay and serve their communities.
Governor Idris highlighted the administration’s commitment to supporting medical students by announcing an increase in scholarship allowances from N30,000 to N50,000, facilitating their academic pursuits. Additionally, he pledged to construct standard hospitals across the four emirates in the state, aiming to enhance the accessibility of healthcare facilities and alleviate the suffering of citizens grappling with various illnesses.
