In a candid revelation, Aisha wrote about seeing her husband, falling in love with him, and actively pursuing him. She humorously mentioned that it took eight months for him to reciprocate her feelings, resulting in a 16-month journey from their first encounter on December 13th, 1996, to their marriage on April 17th, 1998.
Reflecting on their age difference at the time of their meeting, Aisha playfully teased her husband about the possibility of missing out on a great relationship if she hadn’t taken the initiative. She recounted how she often jokes with him about his deliberative decision-making process, to which he responds by reminding her that his single status was a result of such careful consideration.
