Nigerians have expressed their outrage after discovering a palliative warehouse in Osun State two years after the COVID-19 lockdown.
GISTLOVER recalls that Nigeria initiated three phases of lockdown during the COVID breakout in 2020, following which the government offered citizens the option of a palliative.
A warehouse in Ede near Adeleke University is said to hold food items from 2020 that were supposed to be shared with citizens but were instead hoarded.
However, the palliative was expired and unusable for citizens before the township’s residents discovered them.
