This request came in response to assertions made by a retired Major General Danjuma Ali-Keffi, the former General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 1 Division of the Nigerian Army. Ali-Keffi, in an interview with Arise Television over the weekend, claimed that the air crash that claimed Attahiru’s life was connected to sponsors of terrorism.

Ali-Keffi, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation, urged the President to delve into the air crash, which he alleged had been overlooked.

Expressing his concerns on his social media handle on Monday, Amadi questioned why former President Muhammadu Buhari had not deemed it necessary to investigate the incident.

Amadi urged Tinubu to initiate a comprehensive investigation, stating, “An Army Chief and numerous high-ranking officers perished in a suspicious air crash, and President @MBuhari did not see fit to conduct an investigation? We may not be fully aware of the extent to which we have been infiltrated and conquered by terrorists. @officialABAT should promptly order a thorough investigation.
