Reportedly, the pastor confronted the herdsmen as they invaded his farm with cattle, grazing on his crops. This led to a confrontation, resulting in the herdsmen attacking him with a dagger and inflicting stab wounds in approximately six places.
Villagers intervened, apprehending the suspects, who were promptly taken to the palace of Soun of Ogbomosho, Oba Afolabi Ghandi Olaoye. Subsequently, the suspects were handed over to the police for further investigation.
The body of the deceased pastor has been placed in a private mortuary as authorities continue to delve into the circumstances surrounding this unfortunate incident.
