The governor emphasized that the initiative of providing free meals during Ramadan aimed to both seek divine rewards and address the needs of the people, particularly the less privileged in society. Governor Idris underscored his commitment to appointing individuals who have demonstrated utility to their communities, emphasizing a thorough evaluation of candidates’ contributions before granting them positions.

Governor Idris also affirmed the state government’s dedication to upholding democratic principles, vowing not to impose candidates on the electorate. He assured citizens the freedom to choose their preferred candidates for a more seamless democratic governance process.

Furthermore, the governor outlined plans for widespread developmental projects throughout the state, highlighting the essence of democracy in executing initiatives that empower and uplift the people. He specifically promised the renovation of District Heads’ residences, allocating funds directly to the royal fathers to carry out the projects according to their preferences.
