Upon arrival, Tinubu was welcomed by key figures, including his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
It is worth noting that the president faced criticism from opposition parties who accused him of neglecting the nation during a period of heightened security and economic challenges. Some opposition leaders argued that embarking on a private visit while the country grapples with crises was unwarranted.
