During the court proceedings, the defendants, represented by counsel S. Ade Oshodi and Ademola Olabiyi, denied the charges brought against them.

Prosecutor Isholla detailed the accusations, asserting that the defendants forcibly pushed and dragged Anjorin-Lawal, resulting in physical injuries and disturbance of public peace.

The charges filed against the defendants reportedly violate various sections of the criminal laws of Lagos State, 2015, carrying penalties including a two-year jail term for causing injury to a person’s reputation or property.
