Fourteen passengers were abducted while traveling in two separate buses from the East to Abuja at Inyenle Eteke, Ogugu, Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State last Friday, February 2.
The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has reported that all the hostages have been successfully released. SP William Aya, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), confirmed the release of the hostages on Thursday, February 8.
However, PPRO Aya did not provide details on whether the victims were rescued by security forces or if a ransom was paid for their release.
Aya stated, “Just been informed by the DPO that all the kidnapped victims of God is Good Motors and ABC regained their freedom.
