Addressing the situation, Governor Radda expressed his resilience in the face of the threat, stating, “Based on security reports that we are receiving, I am among those that the bandits are thinking of attacking, but that doesn’t muddle me because God is with us, and he will protect us.”

Despite the potential danger, the governor emphasized that his administration remains steadfast in implementing dynamic security strategies to address the challenges posed by banditry and other security issues in the state.

The security council meeting, which played host to key figures such as heads of security agencies, traditional and religious leaders, as well as representatives from the business community, focused on discussing and devising comprehensive approaches to enhance security in Katsina State.
