Tinubu’s Nominees, Raheem And Abayomi, Successfully Confirmed By Senate As NPC Commissioners
Lawmakers reached a decision today, Wednesday, based on the review of a report presented by the Senate Committee on National Identity and Population Commission. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu formally requested the confirmation of Raheem and Abayomi in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio last month. The President invoked section 154(1) of the country’s Constitution, expressing optimism about the Senate promptly considering his proposal.

Hon Fasua Abayomi Johnson, widely known as FAJ in Ogun’s political circle, was a former Chairman of the House of Assembly Committee on Works.
