Winners Unveiled For The 17Th Edition Of Toyota Dream Car Art Contest By CFAO Nigeria....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Toyota by CFAO Nigeria proudly unveiled the champions of the “Toyota Dream Car Art Contest – National Contest” during an esteemed ceremony on March 7th, 2024. The event, hosted at the Toyota by CFAO offices located at 1090 Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, and 28, Ndola Crescent, Wuse, Zone 5, Abuja, served as a platform to acknowledge the imaginative accomplishments of talented young artists from across the nation.
The National Contest, which ran from January 16th to February 16th, 2024, attracted an impressive 2,700 submissions from various regions in Nigeria. Three participants from each entry category were selected as winners and will represent the country at the upcoming World Contest in Japan.
Boye Ajayi, the Managing Director of Toyota by CFAO, expressed his enthusiasm at the award ceremony, stating, “The National contest invites children from all corners of the country to share ideas about the future of mobility by drawing their dream cars. The artworks displayed at the ceremony not only demonstrated the artistic prowess of Nigerian children but also reflected their unique perspectives on mobility, sustainability, and technological advancement. Through their vibrant creations, these young artists showcased Nigeria’s potential as a hub of creativity and innovation in the automotive industry. We at Toyota hope that this activity will help nurture the creativity of the next generation of great inventors, thinkers, and dreamers.”
Ajayi highlighted the global impact of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest, stating, “Since 2004, the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been conducted as part of Toyota’s social contribution initiatives. In 2023 alone, there were about 780,000 entries from 90 countries and regions around the globe.”
In Category 1 (7 years or under), Oluwafiresayomi Babalola secured the first place with the artwork titled ‘House on Wheels.’ Abdulwariz Sulaimon claimed the top spot in Category 2 (8 – 11 years) with the piece ‘Toyota Crocs Car,’ and Olajuwonlo Aletan dominated Category 3 (12 – 15 years) with the winning artwork ‘War Debris Recycling and Construction Car.’
The winning artworks showcased the diverse and imaginative visions of these young artists, reflecting their perspectives on the future of mobility. The contest not only celebrates artistic talent but also encourages young minds to envision a sustainable and innovative automotive future.
