A tragic incident unfolded in Ningi LGA of Bauchi, as the lifeless body of three-year-old Maryam Danlami was discovered on Thursday, March 16. The distressing discovery occurred in Ningi township, days after her concerned parents reported her missing.
Little Maryam had vanished two days prior to the grim revelation, leaving her family distraught. Residents of Sabuwar Denawa within Ningi township, her parents received the heartbreaking news from Almajiri boys, pupils of a nearby Qur’anic school, who stumbled upon her body along a pathway in Ningi.
Authorities swiftly responded to the report, with the Police promptly arriving at the scene to secure the area and retrieve Maryam’s remains. Her body was then transported to the General Hospital in Ningi for a thorough medical examination and to officially ascertain the cause of her untimely passing, conducted by a qualified Medical Doctor.
