The Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended Ali Desmond Chinedum, a suspected internet fraudster, in Rivers State’s capital.
According to a statement from the commission, Chinedum was taken into custody based on credible intelligence indicating his alleged involvement in internet-related crimes.
Among the items confiscated from the suspect are an iPhone 11 Pro Max, a Redmi 12 android mobile device, two United States Navy identity cards bearing numbers: 100040041245 and 100010041159, a Mercedes Benz GLK, an HP Laptop computer, and various charms.
The EFCC stated that Chinedum will face legal proceedings once investigations reach completion.
