In a recent interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today, former National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Salihu Lukman, emphasized the urgent need for the party to establish and publicize a clear code of conduct for its leaders and elected representatives.

Lukman highlighted the unprecedented nature of the situation involving Yahaya Bello, stressing that the party must take decisive action to address such issues. He underscored the importance of trust in leadership and lamented the party’s current state, describing it as reduced to merely an election platform that has seen its fair share of failures among elected representatives.Expressing concern over the lack of crucial meetings within the party organs, Lukman pointed out the absence of National Executive Committee (NEC) meetings under the administration of former Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje as APC national chairman.
