According to reports gathered by BUSHRADIOGIST, Sheba Simon was attacked while making her way home. The assault occurred on Sunday, April 28, 2024, approximately at 9:30 pm near Damaturu Academy along Malari Bye Pass.

Sources, requesting anonymity, revealed that local residents alerted security forces upon discovering Sheba in a critical condition, surrounded by her own blood.

Eyewitnesses confirmed that Sheba was ambushed and stabbed in the back by assailants who absconded with her mobile phone during the assault.

Sheba received urgent medical attention at Damaturu’s Specialist Hospital and is currently undergoing treatment, showing signs of recovery.

In response to the incident, the Yobe State Police Command, through its Public Relations Officer, DSP Dungus Abdulkarim, issued a statement condemning the violent act. The Command assured the public of its commitment to tracking down the perpetrators and ensuring justice is served.

Furthermore, the Command urged residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or individuals to the nearest police station or security agency for prompt action.
