Former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) member and erstwhile ally of Governor Godwin Obaseki, Charles Idahosa, has rekindled his affiliation with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Idahosa expressed his decision to rejoin the party he parted ways with alongside Obaseki approximately four years ago, aiming to bolster APC’s prospects in the upcoming September 21 gubernatorial election.
Addressing the press from his residence, Idahosa was warmly received by party stalwarts, notably led by Edo State APC Secretary Lawrence Okah.
Reflecting on his stint within the PDP, Idahosa confessed his remorse for not facilitating Obaseki’s resignation as Edo Governor when the latter confided in him at his Benin residence about the challenges he faced within the party, spearheaded by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
