During the official flag-off ceremony of the Elele-Egbeda-Omoku Road project in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara issued a stern warning to the outgoing local government chairmen. He cautioned them against causing harm to any resident of the state, emphasizing that any local government chairman who inflicts harm on any law-abiding citizen of Rivers State will not be pardoned.
The governor’s warning, delivered on Thursday at Egbeda community, comes in the wake of an unfortunate incident that occurred on Tuesday. Miscreants reportedly attacked individuals returning home after attending the inauguration of the Aleto-Ogale-Ebubu-Eteo Road project.
Fubara’s strong stance underscores his commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents of Rivers State, particularly during the transition period.
